The possibilities for this service are endless. Past commissions have included kitchen cabinets painted to look old and distressed, shields with family crests on, a tea set including mugs, teapot, sugar bowl and milk jug with the client's house on and a personalised japanned panel, amongst others.

Bespoke Painted Child's Chair
This chair was a commission from a couple who wanted a special gift for their child, it was painted to look like a classical chair including swags and a miniature lake scene on the back.

Personalised Ceramics
Often bespoke items take the form of painting a personal story of the owner onto an object, as art over the ages has done. These mugs were painted with a scene of the client's home and surroundings. Each one has been made subtly different with the addition of things such as a hot air balloon, pink roses and even a flying saucer over Glastonbury Tor.

Personalised Japanned Panel
In the style of a classic Japanese panel, I was commissioned to create a traditional image which includes the client's pregnant wife (standing next to the bridge); a birthday tea party; the client at work with his building tools (right of bridge) and the client's dog. Zoom to see the details.

Golden Pasty
I was commissioned to make a trophy for 'The World's Best Pasty Competition' being held in a Westcountry hotel. As you can see, no commission is too big or small, or too crazy - in fact, the more interesting and creative, the better!
