Domed Spa Room
The client had a round room with a domed ceiling. Asked to produce a rich and sumptuous effect, Candace Bahouth (a very talented mosaic artist) and I worked together to create this room. Candace was responsible for the shells; I was in charge of the walls and the large star on the ceiling.

Oak Panelling Treatment
The client had used reclaimed oak to build this panelling which was very dark and dominated the room. A paler, dusty finish lightened the room without losing the age of the wood. Click on the smaller image to see a bedroom with the same effect.

Carved Stone Fireplace
The client had tried, unsuccessfully to remove the paint from this huge intricately carved stone fireplace. I was employed to paint over the coloured areas, matching it in to the rest of the stonework.

Gilding Interiors
There are small details in this room which add to the overall feeling of opulence. Bright paint effects in the niches with bands of 23.5 carat gold around them, the doors and the skylight.

Decorative Paint Effects - Skylight
This skylight has painted lozenges surrounded by 23.5 carat gilding, which catches the light beautifully.

This niche next to the pool has been painted with an effect to give a depth of colour which looks almost soft to the touch.

Country Kitchen
This kitchen was decorated in an authentic country style, I painted both dressers and the out of shot kitchen cabinets in a distressed style.

Wood Panelling
The client had begun panelling with antique panelling, however did not have enough to complete the room. I had new panelling made and I painted it to match the original.
